About Us

Hi, we're Pailyn and Scott—husband and wife, new parents, and the duo behind Sapphire Design Co. The name was inspired by Pailyn herself—Pailyn (/pie-lin/) means Sapphire in Thai, a nod to her roots and her lifelong love for hand-crafted, meaningful work. What began in 2020 with calligraphy and paper goods has grown alongside our family. Becoming parents inspired our newest chapter: Le Petit Saphir—a collection of thoughtfully designed kids’ clothing, handmade with care by a fellow mom in Northern Thailand. Each piece reflects our commitment to creativity, sustainability, and slow, intentional design—for your little sapphires, from ours.
